Divisimate Micro 1.1 is out now!

We are happy to announce a free update for Divisimate Micro that introduces a special new functionality: The Plugin MIDI Out.Instead of using virtual MIDI ports to route back MIDI into the DAW with individual parts, the Plugin Out allows you to use Divisimate Micro with a routing fully self-contained in your DAW. While before there were only 4 instances of Divisimate Micro allowed to be run at the same time, the Plugin Out lifts this limitation. You can now have an infinite amount of instances of Divisimate Micro in your template and route all your instruments without MIDI ever leaving the DAW. Here is our video showing the new feature:

What's New?

This is a free update for all existing and future users! The setup is a bit different in every DAW so we have prepared specific guides for the setup in most popular DAWs:

Attention Ableton Users!

Unfortunately Ableton Live at this time does not support multi-channel MIDI output for plugins. We have reached out to the Ableton team and hope that this limitation will be lifted in the future. Until then, there is unfortunately no way to use the plugin out functionality in Ableton Live.

There is a free trial available for Divisimate Micro, and if you have tried it in the past your trial period has just been reset so you can give it another go with this new feature. The new method of routing has a number of other cool side effects. For example if you import a set of tracks with this routing from one Cubase Project into another, the routing gets retained. This way you can just import ensembles that you want to use into your template without having to re-route anything. In Logic Pro however there are separate input settings for internal and external routings, allowing you to set up flexible routings, switching between external MIDI input and working through Divisimate Micro seamlessly. There are a lot of new possibilities to discover with this functionality and we are excited to see what workflow you choose to design with it.
